Worked great. Just used the Evoshields for the first time in this last weekend.
These protected the spot between my gloves and elbow pads perfectly!

Hopefully these help avoid further injuries. My Son is coming off a broken arm from hockey and he will not be playing the game without them again!

Slash Guards

My compalints with the slash guards is that the gel packs that turn into the hard shell were slightly wider than the pocket in the neoprene wrist band. That made it difficult to have the gel dispersed evenly as it hardened. The fix for Evo is not to shrink the gel packs. In fact, my other concern is that the gel pack/hard shell is a bit too narrow. If it were a bit wider, it would provide better protection to both bones of my forearm. Aside from these imrpovements, this is a good product.

My Son plays a middie on Poway (San Diego) High School's LAX team; two years ago he had his humerus cracked from a long pole strike and this year he had to sit out for two weeks because of a hematoma in the exact same spot while playing in his new right wing attack promotion. (His back also looked like a zebra!) Our coach suggested Evo-Shield arm-guards to us, which we promptly bought. The self-forming foam was pretty cool! Though they stink pretty bad after a couple practices ;-) But what's new about that?!? Teenage boys and sweat could be bottled as a WMD!! After his first game with Evo-Shield Armor, he stated, "I didn't even feel the strikes!" So his Mom& I bought him the Slash Guards, the Chest Protector, the Back and Side Armor. Not even a bruise the rest of the season! It improved his confidence so much that he has boosted his goals to .300! Ted (& Andrew) from San Diego
