Our pitchers keep jamming the thumb of our catcher so we thought we would try the EvoShield thumb guard. It was easy to mold and our catcher loves it. We will be ordering more in the future for our backup catchers. GREAT PRODUCT.

I was very satified with the delivery time with the product arriving 3 days after ordering it.
However the stiching on one edge was lose. The threading has started to unravel before the shield has been used.
Tried superglue to keep threads from coming undone.
You need better quality control before packaging.

Shrunk overnight after molding. |

I am extremely disapointed with this product. We molded it, wrapped it, placed in glove for recommended time. My daughter used it and it was exactly what she needed. The very next day, she atttempted to put on the shield and it had shrunk. I did not believe her and forced her to get it on. It was now stuck at her thumb knuckle. After much pulling and sliding, it finally came off, but was was clear it is unusable. I really thought this product was going to be perfect for her, but am very disapointed that after only one use, it shrunk to a point where it could not be used on her thumb. I did not see any warnings about leaving it in the cold but it surely seems like the cold caused it to shrink. Not happy that I paid the money for something I could use. Would be willing to try product again and keep it in the house, and would be willing to update my review if I received better results, but I will not be paying for another one.

Softball Catcher's Thumb Guard |

My catcher has tried it out & says it hurts a little bit when the ball hits because it is hard & digs into the hand some. I do, however, like how the firmness of it protects the thumb from being pushed back too much. Once it is molded onto the hand, that's it, there is no changing its composition.
