We purchased this product after our daughter suffered a break of both bones in the forearm & nerve damage, resulting in surgery.  We wanted to protect her from any incoming pitches or throws that might hit the area.  She LOVES the product and feels very secure with it.

Forearm shield review March 13, 2013

The product protects the forearm, first with an elastic armband, then an inserted armor plate.  The product is compact (being easily worn under a jacket), attractive, and light.  The armor plate started as a square of putty, but when exposed to air hardened to the shape of my forearm.

One complaint: the large size fits very tightly.  Perhaps it was made for a woman's forearm.  Perhaps an extra large size needs to be offered for us men (and my forearms are just medium sized for a fit man).

Ordered the EVO shield forearm protector for my daughter, who is a catcher. Product was received as promised and was easy to form. Works very well in protecting her inner forearm when blocking balls. Wish she had it sooner. Highly recommend!
