I am going to be in the Athens area tomorrow and if you’d like for me to stop by and discuss any needs or maybe some ideas please let me know.  I know I have to stop by anyway because a kid on my son’s baseball team bought an Evoshield over the phone today and I am picking it up for him so he can have it this weekend.  He saw my sons Evoshield, and how my son reacted after being hit by a hard hit ball in the chest and had to have one!  It is a great product.

I just purchased a new EvoShield Chest/Back Rib Protector for my daughter to replace one that we bought several years ago.  We really like your product and will continue to buy them as she grows.  She is a pitcher and this protection gives us some peace of mind while she's on the mound. 
Thank you for a great product.  My daughter has worn hers for several years without complaint.  She knows its just part of her uniform and she has to wear it.  Thankfully it's comfortable so it doesn't bother her when she's pitching.

I was recently introduced to your product, and am going to purchase a shirt for my son who plays baseball.  I think this product will go over well in my area (Southern California), and we have several little league organizations in my city alone.  I have a client who told me of her 9-year-old son recently being hit by a pitch in the back, and having to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after discovering he had a lacerated spleen.  All parents would love this security, and all the kids would feel more comfortable and confident while playing.

 My daughter was wearing the Guardian chest protector.  Before the game, during pitching warmups, she was not paying attention as the catcher had thrown back the ball which hit her on the shield's left rib.  The other pitcher and two catchers witness this in awe.  She said it just bounce off and she hardly felt it"

I've noticed something interesting with the guardian chest shield.  Yesterday, she has worn the A100 from 4pm to 10pm last night.  I tried to get her to take off the shield so I could wash it for the next day.  That didn't happen.  So today she had it on for a game at 12pm.  Game ended at 3pm, it's now 8pm.  This really proves how comfortable she is with the chest protector.   Best!

Have you considered any shield for snowboarding that would protect tailbone and hip for snowboarder?
My 11 year old son wears a chest and rib protective shirt for soccer and some football due to pacemaker.  He played paint ball this weekend for the first time and a man with a machine gun unloaded on him.  All the balls bounced off my son’s EvoShield chest protection without breaking.  At this point the man held up his arms as if to indicate what's going on, and my son shot him.

My daughter is a pitcher on a 16U Fastpitch team and has worn EvoShield chest and rib protection for the last three years. Last week she threw a fastball that was hit straight back at her chest; she was able to get a little part of her glove on it but it blew right through and hit her squarely in the chest! The entire crowd gasped as the ball ricocheted off her chest and landed at her feet. As her coach was racing through the dugout to run to the mound she yelled, "I'm fine!....I'm wearing an EvoShield!".

Everyone gave a big sigh of relief...(p.s. she almost threw the girl out at first)! Thanks EvoShield, she'll never pitch without it!

I just wanted to touch base with you and say thank you so much for the help you offered us yesterday. It was a great experience and I really appreciate it. We could not get our son to take his off until time for bed last night and he wanted to sleep in it! Anyway, I think it is giving him the confidence he needs moving up to kid pitch this year. He was afraid of being hit but now he thinks he is indestructible. It was so funny watching him yesterday once we got back home. My daughter wore hers last night while hitting and catching some. It did not restrict either of them at all and neither complained of anything.

As a parent there is nothing harder than watching your child suffer through a preventable sports injury.  As a goalkeeper our son has received multiple injuries. Most recently broken ribs at soccer practice. So we purchased a chest and rib protector for our son. What a difference, not only does it provide excellent protection, his confidence has risen tremendously. What a great product. Our son will be wearing his chest protector for the rest of his sports career.

I purchased the EvoShield chest and rib guard system in the fall of 2009 after my son injured himself making a tackle in a 7^th grade football game.  We were concerned that he cracked a rib.  After x-rays, the doctor’s diagnosis was a bruised sternum.   At the recommendation of our school system’s athletic director, he suggested that I look at your product.  I contacted your Southwest Team Sales rep, Phil Grandjean. After talking to Phil, I purchased a chest and rib guard system for my son to wear under his shoulder pads.   The added protection he was given allowed him to finish the season without missing a game, allowing the sternum to heal and prevent any further injury.   We hope to prevent any injury this year.  That’s why I came back and ordered another set for the 2010 season.   He’s grown some and had to move up a size.  Thanks again.

 I suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs along with other injuries in a car accident a few years ago, I was almost 18. Before that I was playing Gaelic football for my club and my county underage. It took me over a year to recover to a level where I could play again but I was always minding the injury, as it was unprotected. I am 29 now and I’m still playing football on a regular basis with my local club and I have a great love for playing the game. Last year I came out the wrong end of a clash playing a football match and had to be brought to hospital. X-rays showed that I had broken my ribs again. After months of bone scans and consultations with some of the top sports doctors in Ireland I was told my rib had healed wrong and there was a gap left in the bone. They considered operating but it was so close to the lung they advised against it. They suggested that i take some nerve pain injections and retire early from football.  I went in search for a rib guard, all the rib guards out there are either too soft, too bulky or not supportive enough for my injury. The EvoShield rib guard system is a comfortable and slim custom molded rib protector that hardens like a splint to your body shape after fitting. Its shock dispersion technology means that I can take a full bang to the ribs and barely feel it. This amazing product has given me a few more years playing football.  EvoShield is now part of my gear bag as an injury protector but it is a pity that I can’t turn back time and wear it as an injury preventer.  My 13 year old son plays lacrosse, as a goalie. He was playing for the older 15-16 year old boy’s team when his equipment got damaged.  When he came out of the crease & caught the ball over his head he also caught the attackmen's stick in the ribs as well. He thankfully received no personal injury, but he was hit hard enough that the corner piece of the chest shield bent.  I can only express how grateful I am, as a parent, that he was wearing that shield. I have recommended to all of the parents of his teammates to look into the extra safety benefit of EvoShield.

We ordered an EvoShield chest/rib protector because my son had fractured a rib last weekend during a hockey game. I wanted some extra protection for him after this injury and found your web site on the internet and thought I'd give your product a try. We received the EvoShield on Thursday, and my son wore it for the first time during his hockey game last night. During the first period he laid down in front of a shot and took the puck directly to his sternum. He said that he could barely feel the impact from the puck. He told me (with a smile on his face) that he knew that had he not been wearing the new padding and was only relying on his hockey pads that it "would have really hurt". He also said that he didn't have any difficulty from the hits he took during the game with respect to his rib injury.

He played a full game and played with confidence because he was wearing the EvoShield padding. He is sold on the new padding and plans on wearing them for all of his hockey games and next football season as well.

Just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for hooking Tyler up with the EvoShield.  It has done wonders for his confidence.  Tyler is still a work in progress, but slowly but surely he is becoming more and more courageous.  I popped him in the lower back yesterday and guess what?  It didn't hurt!  I've already been spreading the word about the product and the first class service you guys offer.  That really means a lot to people.  Anyway, let me know if I can help in any other way. 
Thanks again for taking care of Tyler.  He's convinced that shield is the equivalent of a big S on his chest.  Ever since we got it his balls off the tee and soft toss are all going about 10-15 feet farther on average.  Now I know it's all in his head, but so what.  The results are all that matters so you better believe I'm playing right along with it.  EvoShield makes you stronger?  Ok, sounds good to me.

EvoShield seems to be taking hold here in NC. Noticed some of the guys from UNC were sporting some EvoShield during the ACC Tournament. Awesome.  Yesterday, I found out that my son made the 10 year old All-star team. He has been playing well and I attribute a lot of his hitting to the confidence he has at the plate due to EvoShield. In fact, our rec team is still in the hunt for the title, playing in the semi finals on Wednesday. All the kids are wearing EvoShield and we are definitely the best hitting team in the league.

I have to tell you this.  As a dad and a coach of the team, EvoShield was a difference maker for our team. We were the best hitting team in the league and it was because our boys had the confidence at the plate. At this age, or any age, knowing that if you get hit by a pitcher, it's not going to hurt is a big advantage. It was so funny, during the season when one of our kids would get hit, the coaches would all yell "EvoShield Baby!" Then the team got into it and all 11 players and the coaches would yell it. Then the parents joined in and every time a kid would get hit, 3 coaches, 11 players and 22 parents would yell, "EVOSHIELD BABY!" Thanks for the support. We will keep you posted on the All Star team. We have our first all star tournament this weekend!

I have purchased an EvoShield chest protector for my 9 year old son who plays with the NJ Blackhawks 9u club team.  We have been extremely happy with the EvoShield protector system.  The protector gives my son an added feeling of confidence that if he is going to be hit by another player, or a baseball, he does not get injured.  I believe he is a more confident with the EvoShield.

My son Jordan (9 yrs old) plays Midland Park Travel Baseball, and club baseball on the NJ Blackhawks.  He is a pitcher and first baseman.  He has been hit by numerous pitches at the plate, and did not feel anything as EvoShield protected him every time.  He has complete confidence at bat, and is not skittish about facing fast pitching, as a result, he is batting .624 in his club league.

Thanks for the product!  While catching, our pitcher was throwing 62 MPH fastballs, Hunter took a fastball tipped straight back to his upper chest just above the catchers chest protection hitting the EvoShield solidly.   It sounded like a plastic bat hitting a concrete wall!  He didn’t move for a moment and shook his head and stood up.  The umpire called time and was checking on Hunter.  He called the other team’s coach, which happens to be my personal doctor, to check Hunter out.   Along with our coaches, which I am one, we went to the plate to check on him also.  Hunter kept saying he was fine and got an OK from the doctor/coach.  After the inning was over, the umpire asked me what kind of protection undershirt he was wearing.  I explained he was wearing EvoShield and fully described it to him and he was very impressed.
Hunter was the next batter and got drilled in the lower rib and kidney area by a 65 MPH fastball.  He flinched, looked at the pitcher, smiled and hit a slammin’ triple down the third base line chalk line. Being well known throughout the little league organization, coaches wanted info on the EvoShield, so hopefully you got some orders of this.  Please send me a complete listing of your products, as I don’t have a PC.

Just last week he took a fastball to the left side of his back. Everyone sitting around me stated that was going to hurt and leave a mark. When the first game was over, he stated that he had no pain and could barely feel it when it hit him. His mother and I took a close look and found no mark on his back.

Just so you know my son is not a typical 15 year old boy. He is 6'1" and weighs about 165 pounds. Everyone on the team knows he wears it and he has never been teased or laughed at, for wearing it.'

Story... My son, who is now 10, was born with missing ribs on one side and multiple vertebral malformations, which cause severe scoliosis.  …The EVO shield suited our needs perfectly, not only because it covered the areas we were most concerned with, but also because it was moldable and could be formed into my son's unique shape.  My son liked the protector because it was "cool" and not as bulky as a previous hard body "brace" that had been custom made for him.  It also wasn't as obvious underneath his clothing, and was actually comfortable... During the season, the shield proved valuable, as my son got hit from wild pitches... While he did not play baseball this past year due to a broken rib, he may be back this coming spring... If so, we will certainly look into a new EVO for him... My son is never going to be a professional athlete, but your product provided us with security, relief, and confidence -- and it enabled my son to play safely... That's all that we ask and hope for...

My son was hit in the ribs in his first kid pitch scrimmage and he went down hard.  He didn’t want to have to hit ever again.  I purchased your rib protector and then realized that you had another product that protected the chest, ribs and back.  I quickly called after placing my online order to switch products.  You made this change simple and painless.  Your customer support is something that other companies have lost sight of.   Once I received your product.  It was easy to assemble.  I placed the shields in the shirt pockets and my son watched TV for an hour or so.  We then went outside and played catch and he hits some balls to confirm no restrictions, there were none. Since using your product he has more confidence and has started hitting again.  Still a little shaky when there is a pitcher throwing fast, but he has returned to the batters box.  Thanks again

My son (now 13) has played on a very competitive tournament baseball team in Colorado for the last four years.  I bought an EvoShield two years ago after he was hit in the back sliding into second base without protection.  I did a lot of Internet research and found EvoShield.   We have been very pleased with his chest protector.  It gives him a lot of confidence because he doesn't have to worry about getting hit anymore.  He is a pitcher and it never interfered with his pitching or catching at all.  He feels a little naked without it.  I am recommending it to his new team so that any parents, who are concerned about the safety of their sons, now have an answer.  I highly recommend EvoShield.  This is an easy product to use so why not use everything possible to protect your child?  I am also buying an extra shirt this time since it has to be washed so often between games.

I wanted to make sure that I shared this success story with you on your chest protector.  I had purchased one of the chest protectors for son last December. I had raved about it to everyone that I possibly could. One of the things that I noticed about my nine year old son, who is playing at the major baseball level here in Texas was that in the games or practices he would not step out like a lot of the younger kids tend to do at that age. The reason was that he felt so confident with the chest protector that his mechanics started improving along with his batting average. In other words he would not budge from the pitched baseball unless it was thrown at his head and then he would turn his back or just hit the deck.
     I also convinced my son's best friend’s parents to purchase the chest protector. We noticed an obvious difference in his confidence. Sure enough the first tournament that we played this spring the young man was hit and did not even flinch. Everyone that heard the thud just knew that it was going to be bad, but it wasn't. He looked like he was superman and just ran to first base. I turned to my wife and said he just got moneys worth.

Late spring we purchased the EvoShield Chest protection. Loved it. Worked well, player was comfortable and I had some peace of mind knowing he had some protection on the "other" side of the hitter. This year his shirt fits fine, but he had broadened in the chest and the pads don't fit as well. I need to purchase the PADS only. Thanks.

Dear EvoShield...I googled chest protection for baseball and found your website. I have to say, I was reluctant to pay $90 for this shirt when I can find others that are less expensive. However, I watched the video and was impressed. I bought the shirt for my son, a pitcher, second baseman and short stop. I always worry about him when he is on the mound. He refuses to wear anything I have purchased to protect his chest. Until I found this! No restriction, no straps, no big bulky look under your uniform....no looking like a "geek" as my son would put it. I actually have to go up and tap his chest to make sure he is wearing it. HE ACTUALLY WEARS IT WITHOUT GIVING ME A PROBLEM!! He says "of course I'm wearing it mom, it's so cool." It is a custom fit, and doesn't restrict him in any way. He even wears it for practice. Unlike the other shirts, this is not just foam protection, it is hard plastic. I tell every one I can about this shirt. When kids are in middle school and high school they want to look cool...even if that means compromising safety. Of all the things I have bought for sports over the years, this is by far THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER PURCHASED!!!! Thank you so much to the designer and inventor of this product. I can't recommend this chest protector enough. It's a cool shirt with a cool design with the added bonus of protection and comfort.

We recently purchased the EvoShield for our 12 year old daughter and her friend and teammate. She is a pitcher and plays very competitive softball. With the way bats are made these days and her only 40 feet from the batter we thought we'd give the EvoShield a try. When I first received it I was worried I would mess up the hardening process some how. I was surprised with how easy it was. Once it hardened I was afraid she would complain it was too heavy or hot. She has worn it for three tournaments now and she has not once complained - even in the hot weather! She hasn't taken a hard hit to it yet (except for friends knocking on it to see how hard it is) but as parents, it is comforting to know she has that protection if she does take a hard shot. Also, my husband ordered it smaller than it should have been and when we contacted you to change it, it was changed with no problem at all. We even received a phone call about the color change. What great service. I'm surprised the sporting goods stores in Cincinnati aren't selling this product yet. Is that something that you all are working on? If so, please give them our e-mail to request that they sell it to the athletes of Cincinnati. I've forwarded your website to friends from Columbus so they can get one for their daughter (another pitcher). Thanks for providing this product to us.

On June 30th, my ten-year-old grandson was pitching in the New Jersey District 10 Cal Ripkin championship game in Hamilton, NJ. Gavin was hit in the chest with a hard line drive; coaches and umpires rushed to his assistance immediately. Gavin never went down, gave a thumbs up, and pointed to his chest. Because he was wearing your Evolve protective vest, no injury was sustained. This could have been a life-threatening injury. When the parents of the other players saw what happened, they all wanted to know where to get a vest like the one Gavin wore. If you would like a picture of Gavin with his chest protector, please contact us.

As a HS coach of FB BB Wrestling & track of 32 yrs and also associated with Little League programs I would highly recommend that (at the very least) every pitcher wear your EvoShield Chest & Rib protector. Thank goodness that Gavin had his vest on June 30th when he was hit.

Stan, I got my package today, just in time for my son Tyler’s (and his friend’s) baseball game tonight!  Thank you so very much.  Love the product – the quality is phenomenal.  It was so easy to put together.  I watched the video before I opened it because I was a little nervous about doing it wrong.  But, all the pieces matched up with the shirt and I made sure the white side was against my son’s body and the black side faced outward.  Tyler loves the way it feels, and he, too, was impressed after watching the video and seeing the baseball player throw the ball with such ease wearing the EvoShield.  Please send me some marketing flyers, if you have any.  I plan on going to the next Monroe Township Little League (MTLL) meeting and presenting the product.  I want to get a flyer in the hands of all the coaches, along with your email address and phone number, so they, in turn, can share the product with all of their players.  Also, I want to get MTLL to put it on their website that every parent checks regularly.  Plus, my son goes to various baseball camps in the summer so I will promote the EvoShield there also.   I will tell everyone I contact.

Hello! I am the mother of a 15 yr old ice hockey goalie who is now the target for 75 MPH shots.  He wouldn’t hear of getting a bigger and bulkier chest protector so we bought your chest protector, He loves it and I feel a lot more secure when he is in the net.

I bought it for my son and he has greater confidence in the batters box.  He is doing so much better because he is not afraid to stay in the box.   I would like to know if there are any opportunities in selling your product on a local level.  When I explain the product to parents they all want it. Hi, my name is Jacob Mellott from Martinsburg Pa. I am 11 years old and love to play Little League baseball, I have been wearing the EvoShield baseball shirt for one season, One time I was hit in the back while sliding into 3rd base and the coach came running to see if I was alright and I asked why, and he said you just got wacked in the back with the ball being fired from 2nd,I never even felt it. My dad said since I was a pitcher it might help me from getting smacked in the chest from a line drive hit ball while on the mound. I really like the shirt it fits very well and doesn’t get all bunched up, I really cant tell I'm wearing it, and my friends thinks its pretty cool too.

GREAT PRODUCT!

My son Zack plays Lacrosse at Chantilly High School in Virginia (2008 VA State Champions!). As I am sure you know, Lacrosse players DO NOT like to wear ANY pads if they can get away with it.  Added weight, comfort, agility, and body fit, as well as the "I am a tough lacrosse player, I don't need any pads" are all factors for the players. That obviously is a concern for all of us parents.    The answer...EvoShield!

Zack says that he barely realizes he is wearing his A100 chest & rib protection EvoShirt, and makes a point of showing it to the other players on his team. Several parents have asked me about it as well as some of the coaches.

I also appreciate the fact that I could order just an extra shirt, (which we received within two days!) and that Adam took the time to write a personal note on the packing slip to wish Zack a great LAX season and to thank us for our business.

A150 Wrist Guard

My dad just got me the wrist guard, He unwrapped the foil-covered armor and inserted it into the really cool elastic wrist band, he got me the team color. I could feel it as it hardened around my wrist. I wore it to a function that night that a few of my friends were there, they didn’t believe me that it was armor so they dared me to bang my wrist off the table really hard so I did and showed them I didn’t feel a thing, so they tried it too and they thought it was really cool.  I can’t wait to play baseball this spring!!!!

Re; Use in softball.  I am a former college pitcher for the University of Georgia and have done extensive work with this product.  I currently teach pitching instruction and have been in business for four years upon my final year of eligibility at UGA.    I have personally thrown several training sessions and have also had my own students throw in the product.  You will not be able to feel the product is even there.  I am sure your daughter has used some forms of dry fit, under armor material during competition.  She will have the same benefits with our product, but will also have confidence with the added protection.  I am passionate about this product and believe in the near future it will be next protective product mandated in the competitive arena.

You have a product that is needed in the sport competitions, especially high school.  There are so many injuries due to the aggressive playing these kids are doing nowadays and whether from lack of conditioning or the aggression and probably a combination of both, there are a lot of kids in need of this equipment.  I researched many products, but there just isn't much out there for protection, especially for a girl (a little vanity in there you know).  This vest fits snug and is not visible, a plus. The price is doable, too. And it's absolutely amazing how it molds with the air.  Good luck with this product.  If there is a way to get brochures to the school coaches may be one way of getting your product out there.  Michelle's coach was very impressed and knows how badly she needed it.
