The Taylor Haugen Foundation was created to honor the memory of the 15-year-old Niceville High School student who passed away after an injury sustained during a football game on August 30, 2008.

Taylor Haugen Foundation is the lead charitable proponent in providing Youth Equipment for Sports Safety (YESS). In partnership with evoSHIELD, and their revolutionary protective sports equipment, the Taylor Haugen Foundation provides grants and assistance to youth athletic teams/schools/districts at the local and national level.


 On Monday September 12, 2011 the Taylor Haugen Foundation presented Rocky Bayou Christian School’s Football Team with evoSHIELD’s revolutionary evoSHIELD rib-shirts. This grant was initiated after one of their players suffered an internal injury similar to the one sustained by Taylor Haugen three years earlier.  In memory and in honor of Taylor’s legacy, the foundation presents the equipment in the hopes that similar injuries of this kind might be avoided.
