I am a senior softball player who recently purchased a pair of Evo Shield shin guards while playing at the Senior Softball USA Atlantic Coast Championships in Loudin, Va. Playing third base I got hit on the inside of my left shin leaving the stitch marks of the ball on my leg. During a break between games a sales representative came to the park with various Evo shield products. I purchased a pair on the spot. I was pitching in the next game and in the first inning I got hit on the same leg about an inch lower than before and never really felt the impact but looked down and saw that the ball had ripped a hole in the sleeve cover.
